The short version

How it plays
An obby is an obstacle course, and this one is built as a very tall rainbow climb. Classic mode takes you through three worlds with hundreds of obstacles on the way to the top.
Other modes change what you move with. Car mode is ramps, jumps and awkward roads; bike mode is the classic course on a motorbike. Poki also lists stairs, troll, river, plane and cart modes.
In some modes other players can troll you and try to stop you from getting further. If you get stuck, items such as jetpacks and springs can help you past a hard section.
Controls
- Walk
- W, A, S, D
- Jump
- Spacebar
- Phone and tablet
- Touch controls on screen
Tips
- Start with Classic mode. The car and bike modes use the same kind of course but are harder to control.
- Look at where the next platform lands before jumping; in 3D the camera angle can make gaps look shorter.
- If a section keeps beating you, use the helper items such as springs or a jetpack instead of repeating the same jump.
- Pick a mode without trolling if you want a quiet climb.
Good for, and what to weigh
Good for
Good for players who enjoy long 3D climbs and a lot of variety in one game. Less good if you want to play strictly alone or dislike other players interfering.
What to weigh
– Poki shows ads on its game pages.
– Other players share the course, and in troll modes they are there to get in your way.
– Falling can cost a lot of progress on a tall course.
Quick answers
- How many modes are there?
- Poki describes more than ten, including Classic, Car, Bike, Stairs, Troll, River, Plane and Cart.
- Do other players get in the way?
- In some modes, yes: they can troll you on purpose.
