How it plays

You play a squishy green blob inside a laboratory that clearly does not want it to leave. Each room is a small puzzle of platforms, gaps and sharp spikes between you and the exit.

The slime stretches, squeezes and jumps. Most rooms are about reading the layout first, then moving carefully rather than quickly.

Hidden floppy disks are tucked into some rooms. They are optional, but going after them is where the harder jumps are.

Tips

  • Stop at the door of a new room and look at the whole layout before the first jump.
  • Spikes are the main danger; treat every edge next to them as shorter than it looks.
  • Use Down to drop through where the room allows it instead of jumping around a platform.
  • Leave floppy disks for a second pass if a room is giving you trouble. Getting out comes first.

Good for, and what to weigh

Good for

Good for players who like calm, readable platforming with four keys. Less good if you want fast action, a story or online play.

What to weigh

– Poki shows ads on its game pages.

– It is an older-style game (Poki files it under its Flash-era collection), so visuals are simple.

– Sequels exist on Poki as separate games; this guide covers the first one only.

Quick answers

Do I have to collect the floppy disks?
No. They are hidden extras; you can leave a room without them.
Which keys does it use?
Only the arrow keys: Left and Right to move, Up to jump, Down to drop down.
